In intersecting paths on the Boğaziçi University campus, students and alumni initiated a solidarity movement by digitally transferring the tradition of ‘bread share’ to ‘meal share.’ They aimed to focus on the most basic need, hunger, and started to generate sustainable solutions. In March 2020, TOKTUT started as a civil initiative during the pandemic, and intensified its humanitarian aid efforts in the disaster area following the earthquakes that affected millions of people on February 6th. With the support of its donors and trusted partners. TOKTUT, holistic, sustainable, and inclusive in its approach, directly contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by comprehensively assessing needs and ensuring that everyone is included and no one is left behind.

We are proud to support TOKTUT’s mission by donating $1600 to provide nutrition boxes for primary school students in the earthquake-affected region. In this project, daily prepared snacks are delivered to children every morning in single-use sealed packages. This contribution aims to ensure that children in vulnerable communities have access to essential nourishment as they continue their education and recovery. We believe that no child should face hunger, and we are honored to stand with TOKTUT in delivering hope and sustenance where it’s needed most.
