Last night was another of many TALL events when we had the opportunity to get together having Turkish food, dancing whole night with great music, and having fun while helping to children in need. Our Bayram celebration dinner took place at Nick’s Kitchen in Reseda (formerly Sako’s restaurant) over 60 guests attending. We had Turkish mezzes along with rakı and wine, delicious steak and desserts in a cozy atmosphere. DJ Ali Tolga and his drummer Alen Konakoğlu contributed to the night playing our favorite music, mostly Turkish of course, making sure that the dancing area was never empty.
Our board member Hafize sang us with her great voice and was followed of our other talented guests which made the night more fun.
The supports of our guests continued buying raffle tickets, and many thanks to Emine Hanım donating her part of win to TALL. Our proceedings will make a music room for a school in Turkey possible, they asked and we made it happen with your help.
It was a great way to end the night with the songs ‘İzmir’in Dağları’ and ‘Onuncu Yıl Marşı’ singing all of us together feeling the strength of our community.
We appreciate all the continuing support of our members and guests attending last night, and who could not come but contributed to the event.
