Annual Valentine’s Day Fund Raiser event organized by Turkish American Ladies League (TALL) brought the Turkish American community of Southern California together again on Saturday February 16, 2019.
Honorable Consul General Can Oğuz and Mrs. Hümeyra Oğuz graciously opened their residence to over 50 guests for this fun and memorable event. Their staff did an excellent job and their service is very much appreciated. Special thanks for Barbaros Bey for the delicious dinner.
The music was led by Dr. Demetra George Mustafoğlu and accompanied by Burak Beşir (at Flute and Guitar) and Wayne Behlendorf (at Piano). Dr. Mustafoğlu’s Faces of Love Program was very relevant to the theme of Day of Love and was very entertaining. It was a true feast! Our guest Yasemin Kumral was gracious enough to sing her famous song “Bim Bam Bom” and took us back to our youth.
Special Thanks to Mr. Cengiz Sarıkçıoğlu for his generous support as the highest bidder for the beautiful necklace at our auction.
