Turkish American Ladies League had another fun-filled evening, Popular Songs Night (Sevdigimiz Sarkilar Gecesi), on Saturday, May 5 at Coach’s Mediterranean Grill in Huntington Beach, California.

The guests enjoyed the delicious food along with complimentary bottomless Yeni Raki and Breezette wine while entertained by talented musician Mr. Ilhan Ozulu. Guests sang along and danced to the popular songs of yesterday and today while enjoying the company of old friends and new ones.

I thank each and every guest who attended the Popular Songs Night making it special for all of us with your presence. I also extend my thanks to the event’s sponsors Mrs. Jasmin Doker for her generous donation of delicious Breezette rose wine and Yeni Raki for their generous donation as well. Further thanks go to Murat Koc and his team for their hospitality and delicious food and Ilhan Ozulu for making the evening special with his music. Last but not least I would like to thank each member of the Board of Directors of TALL for your efforts in making the event come together with success.

The proceeds from the Popular Songs Night and Casino Night events benefited Kizilagac Ilkogretim Okulu in Mugla. The school will soon have a computer, printer, smart board, and two projector sets. They will also have the schools windows replaced and the current out-house restrooms will be replaced with the indoor ones. All made possible with your contributions by attending Turkish American Ladies League events.
